SHOES! Remember to update your shoes every few months. Even more often if you take classes more often than 3 times per week! Your shoes will wear out on the INSIDE before you notice wear and tear on the outside. Be smart - change often! Better yet - buy two pair you like, and rotate them. Your wallet will thank you, as you will get more time out of your shoes.
Water, water, everywhere! Make sure to drink water before class, during class and after class. Your body is made up mostly of water. You become dehydrated even before you are thirsty. Find your favorite water and bring it to class. Bottoms up!
Sports bras: Ladies - remember, a good sports bra is a MUST when you are doing an aerobics class! Your sports bras wear out as quickly as your shoes. Constant washing and wearing will begin to take its toll on your undergarmets.
Remember to update your undergarmets as you would your shoes.
Heels down! Make sure when you are dancing in Jazzercise to allow your heels to strike the floor. Dancing only on your toes can cause shin splits, calf cramps...and more! Allow your foot to completely roll through the full range of motion.
